Now seeking nominations for Carlton County 2017 Outstanding Senior Citizen Awards

Nominations are sought for the Carlton County 2017 Outstanding Senior Citizen Awards. The award recognizes outstanding seniors who have contributed their time and talent to benefit their community. Winners will be announced and honored at the Carlton County Fair, Friday, August 18, 2017. Award winners at the local level will then move on to compete at the Minnesota State Fair.

Friends of Animals needs your help!!!!

CONTRUCTION UPDATE WEEK OF THE 24th:
We are looking for 3-4 minimum volunteers EVERYDAY until the move to help with heavy lifting and assist with moving office furniture, kennel set up and outdoor kennel tear down. Plus projects around the old shelter to pack up.

We are also looking for volunteers that may be available Tuesday-Thursday from appx 3:30-5:30 pm for new shelter painting and clean up.
